Easy Raw Chocolate Bites

I made these for the first time a few weeks ago and, since then, I have developed an obsession! Despite being extremely simple to make, these tasty bites are packed full of health benefits and the ingredients could not be more minimal! Ingredients: (makes 12)

↝ 30g cocoa powder

↝ 75g oats

↝ 6 almonds

↝ 225g medjool dates

↝ 1/2 cup chickpeas

↝ 2tsp vanilla essence

↝ cacao nibs for topping

↝ 1tbsp almond butter


Method:

First, blend the oats to form a flour-like consistency


Add in 150g dates, the almonds and the cocoa powder and blend until a dough forms


Spread this dough at the base of a lined baking tray and place it in the freezer


Then, blend the chickpeas with the almond butter, the rest of the dates and the vanilla


Spread it onto the base and place the tray to set in the fridge for 2 hours


Cut into squares and enjoy!
